AcquireSponsor

The Counsel account

For attorneys who work with creators and brands.

Creators sign sponsorship contracts, license their work, sell channels, hire teams, and find their videos inside somebody else’s paid ads. Most of them have never hired a lawyer. The Counsel account puts your practice in front of them at the moment they have a concrete problem, with a scope and a price attached, so the first conversation is about the work and not about whether they can afford to ask.

Read this before you apply

This is a listing, not a referral service. AcquireSponsor is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. We do not vet anyone, we do not endorse anyone, we do not match a creator to you, and we take no fee, no percentage and no commission on legal work. Listing here is not a recommendation.

Your bar admissions, jurisdictions and years in practice are self-reported. They are shown with that word beside them on every page, and no payment removes it. If that framing does not suit your practice, this account is not for you.

The attorneys we want here already work with creators, or want to, and can name what a piece of work costs. A scoped, priced service is what a creator clicks on, because it is the one thing a legal directory cannot show them.

What you get

Two things that are not negotiable

Your fees are yours, off the platform

Every service on your page carries your own fee, and it is paid directly to you, off AcquireSponsor. There is no checkout for legal work here, no referral fee, no per-lead fee and no cut. The only money AcquireSponsor takes from an attorney is this subscription.

Self-reported means self-reported

AcquireSponsor does not verify bar admission, licensure or credentials. Every one of those values is shown with that sentence beside it, on your page and in the data behind it. Paying for this account never changes that, and nothing you can buy turns it into a checkmark.

Discovery leads with the problem, not the practice area

A creator whose video was lifted into a brand’s paid ads does not search for IP licensing. They search for what happened to them.

Situations, in a creator’s words

Your page carries the situations you can help with, phrased the way a creator would type them: a contract they need read before they sign, a brand that went quiet after delivery, a channel they are selling. You pick from a fixed list and nobody writes their own, so it can never become a keyword dump. The Counsel board’s search and filters run on that list.

Services with a number on them

Under that, your services: a name, a scope, a flat fee or a starting-at fee, and a turnaround chosen from a fixed set of windows. A creator who is afraid of an open-ended hourly bill can see the number before they write to you. Each listing also gets its own public page with a canonical address, so it can be shared and linked like any other page on the web.

How you get one

  1. 1

    Apply

Your legal name, firm, practice areas, the jurisdictions you are admitted in, and your practice in your own words. It takes a few minutes and it is read by a person.

  2. 2

    We read it

Every application is reviewed by hand right now. You hear back either way, by email and in the app, and a no is not permanent.

  3. 3

    Activate

Approval opens payment, not the listing. Your practice profile, your services and your place on the Counsel board switch on once the account is active.

One-time setup

$100

Then monthly

$39/mo

Both on one card, on one subscription. Nothing is charged until a person approves your application, and there is no trial. If you cancel, you keep the account until the end of the period you paid for, and your profile and listings are kept after that. The setup fee is charged once, so coming back later does not cost it again. This is separate from PRO.

Attorney Advertising

Your listing and practice profile are published under that label, and it appears on every Counsel page, including yours. AcquireSponsor lists, you choose. We don't vet, endorse, or take fees on legal work.
